Already having landed in Portland, CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) is set to secure franchise agreements for its 1 Gbps broadband and IPTV services in four more Oregon locales: Lake Oswego, North Plains, Gigard, West Linn and some of unincorporated Washington County.
CenturyLink began offering its 1 Gbps service in Portland, Ore., in 2014, but began laying out a serious challenge for Comcast's (NASDAQ: CMCSA) long-running monopoly in the regions in May, when it introduced its Prism IPTV service.
