Looks like Motorola is ready to jump onto the Google TV bandwagon: it rolled out a remote control at IBC that includes a keyboard, perfect for diving into the deep Internet search that Google TV--and other interactive offerings--will feature.
Moto says its NYXboard combines the traditional remote control form with a full keyboard to "create a more intuitive navigational experience for sophisticated interactive TV services as well as traditional linear TV." The NYXboard gives users the ability to control both the set-top and television set, and has sensors to recognize which side of the remote is being used in order to activate the buttons accordingly.
NYXboard will be available by the end of 2010. Various reports have Google TV landing (pick one) Sept. 29, Oct. 17, or, as Google CEO Eric Schmidt said, later this fall.
