Cable operators worldwide take notice: you're not on the same level as water, heat and lights.
New Hampshire is considering legislation that would let landlords interrupt or terminate cable TV services provided to their tenants. The legislation aims to close a loophole--gaping, wide open door might be more like it--created when a court ruled against a landlord who shut off TV service while trying to evict a tenant.
The bill, which is getting its first hearing today, would remove cable from the must-have utility provider list that includes heat, water and lights.
