Take heart MSOs, Google says it's not after your business

Google TV (Nasdaq: GOOG) product lead Rish Chandra wants cable operators to know that Google has not come to conquer cable; it's come to praise it. Or something of that sort.

Speaking at the GigaOM NewTeeVee conference, Chandra even went so far as to say (gasp!) that "cord cutting is not happening. We think the cable industry does a pretty good job of delivering content to user so we don't think that all of a sudden users are going to shut off that content."
