Radial Entertainment, operator of the largest independent catalog of film and television in the industry, today announced a new distribution agreement with Blue Ant Media, adding three unscripted series to Radial’s growing slate.
With the latest agreement, Radial has secured domestic rights across streaming — including AVOD, FAST, SVOD and TVOD, as well as broadcast rights for two new series: “History Unsolved: The Investigation Files,” produced by Blue Ant Studios, and “Fatal First Dates,” produced by Perpetual Entertainment.
The deal, negotiated by Marine Ksadzhikyan, VP of international sales at Blue Ant Media, and Cristina Guggino, VP of originals and content partnerships at Radial Entertainment, also includes Season Two of “Last Night Out” — the latest installment of the true crime franchise produced by FirstLook TV, following Radial’s U.S. partnership on the first season.
The new titles join an expanding lineup of Blue Ant Media programs already distributed by Radial, which includes “Murder In Mind,” “Killers Caught On Camera” and “Death Comes Knocking,” among others.
"We’ve been selectively expanding our originals slate, and ‘History Unsolved,’ ‘Fatal First Dates’ and ‘Last Night Out’ are exactly what we’re looking for — premium unscripted with real platform demand,” Guggino said. “Investigative and true crime remain among the most resilient genres in the business, and Blue Ant Media consistently delivers the kind of series that deliver on that promise.”
“Radial has been a valued partner for Blue Ant Media, and we’re delighted to build on that relationship with this latest agreement,” Ksadzhikyan said. “Demand for premium factual and true crime programming remains strong across platforms, and we’re confident these series will deliver meaningful value for Radial and resonate with audiences across the U.S. market.”
The compelling investigative series “History Unsolved: The Investigation Files” (10 episodes, 60 minutes each) features historians and criminologists tackling the past’s most enduring mysteries — from the curse of King Tutankhamun to the Mona Lisa heist. Utilizing a dynamic “evidence board,” each episode plays out like a real-time forensic thriller, peeling back layers of history with the urgency, suspense, and drama of a modern thriller.
True crime series “Fatal First Dates” (10x60’) explores the dark side of modern romance. In an age of dating apps and instant connection, the search for love can carry unseen risks. Carefully reported and human-centered, each episode follows a standalone case, tracing events from the first swipe or chance meeting through a descent into manipulation, obsession and betrayal.
On the heels of its initial success, “Last Night Out” returns for Season Two (10 episodes, 60 minutes each) with new cases examining nights of celebration that turned into tragedies. Each episode takes a deep dive into the victims’ final hours, blending emotional testimonies with investigative storytelling to uncover how trust was shattered, relationships turned deadly and opportunities to prevent tragedy were missed.
