Titan OS adds 30 Radial Entertainment FAST channels in Europe

Titan OS is adding and expanding reach of 30 free ad-supported streaming TV channels from Radial Entertainment’s FilmRise to its smart TV OS-powered device footprint across Europe.

The new deal will see titles and brands like Z Nation, Iron Chef, Hot Ones, Kim’s Convenience, Forensic Files, Beyblade and Andromeda join the Titan FAST Channels lineup to all Titan OS-powered devices in key European markets.

That includes TVs from Philips, AOC, Sharp, and Vestel, as well as select Sony Android devices. The new content agreement expands the Titan OS FAST channel lineup in the U.K., Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and the Nordics.

Notably, the channels will be available through local feeds, with localized language or subtitle options depending on the market.

It marks the latest traction for the relatively young Titan OS, which entered the TVOS scene in 2024 with a proposition to be a more independent or neutral player that can help maximize monetization for OEM and content partners as the company doesn’t have a content play or preference of its own.

It’s since built up several OEM and content partnerships, bringing the TVOS reach to 18 million active users. Partnerships include recent traction with Sharp as its latest named smart TV manufacturing partner in Europe and a deal to expand the Titan Channels FAST offering to devices within the MediaTek TV partner ecosystem.

In terms of adding FAST channels from Radial’s FilmRise alongside content localization, it speaks to Titan’s approach to combine global content brands with local market relevance.

“Radial Entertainment brings together a strong, highly recognizable content portfolio that fits perfectly with our mission to make great entertainment easier to discover on TV,” said Anna Campistol, FAST Channel Commercial Lead at Titan OS, in a statement. “By launching these channels across all Titan OS devices in major European markets, we are giving viewers even more choice while helping content partners expand their reach through a premium, independent European TV platform.”

It comes as the TVOS space continues to be competitive, particularly overseas where there are other newer and independent players vying for share such as Xperi’s TiVo and VIDAA.

FilmRise international expansion a priority for Radial

As for Radial Entertainment, the company was formed by Oaktree Capital after it acquired and merged independent TV and film distributors FilmRise with Shout! Studios.

And according to Alejandro Veciana, senior manager of International Salesa nd Distribution at Radial, “expanding FilmRise channels to international audiences is one of Radial’s biggest priorities right now” while also emphasizing the importance of localization in a fragmented European market.

“Titan OS is an outstanding partner for that growth across Europe with their strong smart TV footprint in key markets,” continued Veciana. “Both companies see localization as essential to making international expansion work for viewers — which is why this rollout puts fan-favourites like Hot Ones, Forensic Files and Z Nation in front of audiences across seven markets with local feeds and language options tailored to each. That's exactly the kind of cross-border momentum we're building toward globally."

Separately, Radial is also pursuing a content strategy to bring fresh takes on popular genres and formats, such as true crime with its new series The Perfect Scam available on the FilmRise FAST channel and AVOD offerings in the U.S and Canada.

Speaking to StreamTV Insider last month about the content strategy and new series, Radial Chief Investment Officer David Buoymaster described thinking about how to tell stories in a new way and reaching new audiences by taking content to streaming.

He said Radial is thinking about delivering new types of stories “for a net new audience” by taking them not through a traditional broadcast linear model but instead direct to AVOD, FAST and some SVOD platforms in the U.S.

“It’s a different demographic that we’re reaching on AVOD and FAST and on Amazon Prime and Peacock to some degree as well,” Buoymaster said of streaming, noting it’s by and large a younger audience but also those relatively new to streaming.

And with Titan’s growing footprint in Europe, Radial content is poised for more international reach.
