Streamers TV Promo Power Ranking: ‘Furious’ Charge for Disney+ in July

Welcome to our new monthly tracker, the Streamers TV Promo Power Ranking, exclusive to StreamTV Insiders courtesy of iSpot. Here we look at which streamers are doling out and securing the most reach via linear TV ads each month to promote their latest-and-greatest content and services, and some of the titles they’re giving the most TV marketing love to.

Streaming may continue to gain share of TV viewing while social video is emerging as one of the latest mechanisms for content discovery, but in a crowded and competitive entertainment space major streamers are still looking to linear TV advertising to get in front of audiences and promote their programming and services.

And with brand differentiation needed - but sometimes challenging for consumers to distinguish among major SVODs – it’s interesting to see, courtesy of iSpot, which streamers (and content) are getting the most marketing might on linear TV each month.

With that, which streamer topped the chart in July to rank first by linear TV promo reach - aka the Streamers TV Promo Power Ranking?

In July 2026, Disney+ promos secured the most household linear TV impressions, accounting for 13.62% of streaming promo reach, according to iSpot. It’s worth noting that while top of the ranking, that still represents a smaller share than Disney+ had the prior month in June, when the service was No. 2 to Paramount+.

See the full ranking below and read on for more about which content some of the top streamers put TV promo effort behind in July. And check the following link for all of our monthly Streamers TV Promo Power Rankings.

What streaming titles did the House of Mouse look to get in front of and promote to linear TV viewers in July?

Drumming up interest for the premiere of a new scripted crime thriller series on Hulu appeared to be a top priority for Disney last month, as iSpot found over a quarter of Disney+ promo reach was dedicated to series Furious, starring Emmy Rossum.

Furious premiered on Hulu (and Hulu on Disney+) on July 27, when the first three episodes dropped. Subsequent episodes have been released weekly on Mondays, with the season finale slated for August 31, 2026.

Climbing up from its fourth-place position in June and coming in behind Disney+ at No. 2 for greatest share of linear TV promo reach in July was Warner Bros. Discovery’s HBO Max at 11.11%.

Last month HBO Max promoted a theatrical release as it made its way to streaming as well as an original scripted spin-off series from The Big Bang franchise.

Per iSpot, more than half of HBO Max’s TV promo impressions for the month went to Lee Cronin’s The Mummy and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe.

The Mummy was released in theaters on April 17 and started streaming on HBO Max July 3. The original sci-fi comedy spin-off created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn and Bill Prady, meanwhile, premiered on the SVOD in late July with new episodes of the 10-episode first season released weekly on Thursdays.

HBO Max made a push on linear TV ahead of the premiere and we’ll see if that sticks over the next couple of months leading up to the season finale of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe on September 24.

Paramount+ (June’s No. 1 service) dropped two spots in the ranking but still rounded out the top three with 11.05% share of household linear TV promo impression, per iSpot.

That’s notably less than the 17.32% Paramount+ nabbed in June.

Still, similar to the month prior, in July Paramount+ leaned most heavily into linear TV to promote the streaming service’s live UFC events, which accounted for nearly two-thirds of its promo reach.

Shortly after its purchase by David Ellison’s Skydance Media, Paramount last August inked a seven-year media rights deal, valued at $7.7 billion, for Paramount+ to be the exclusive U.S. home of UFC – and it likely want to make the most of those rights and attract audiences, including ones found on linear TV. According to iSpot, in July Paramount+ promos that focused on UFC aired over 5,400 times across linear networks.

That does it for July, be sure to check back next month to see who tops the Streamers TV Promo Power Ranking for August.
